College, where I received the title of Professor of English in September
1996. In addition, I am the founding director of WordsWorth Associates,
which provides writing skills programs for attorneys and other business
professionals in the United States and in Europe. I have published one
book and numerous articles in 3 areas: on Shakespeare, on the teaching
of writing, and on legal writing.
Education
:
-Ph.D. in English literature; Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
-M.A. in English; Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
-B.A. magna cum laude; Hunter College, City University of New York
Goals:
My goals are to help students become
independent; to enable them to acquire or reinforce the knowledge, techniques,
and methods they need for reading, researching, and writing intelligently.
In all courses we spend some time in computer labs learning how to use
technology for researching, writing, and generally preparing for careers
in whatever field.
