  • Rethinking the Capstone Experience Seminar Leader , Duties include: attending weekly planning meetings, planning for monthly faculty development seminars, leading faculty seminars, presenting on capstone, advising the implementation of new capstone guidelines (2008-present)

  • Designed for Learning Participant & Fellow, Duties include: attending summer and mid-year week long technology training institutes, attending monthly seminars, designing and implementing technology in English courses (2001-2003)
  • Search Committees: 2 Archivist Searches, First Year Academy Coordinators, 2 English Department Searches, Duties included: attending search committee meetings, reading candidate applications, participating in the interview process, and selecting candidates for hire(2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009)
  • Transfer Committee, Duties included: attending meetings (2001-2002)
  • Straight and Gay Alliance Faculty Co-Mentor, Duties include: attending weekly meetings, meeting with organization’s officers, meeting with individual students, working on the annual Day of Silence, working with the Safe Zone project, and facilitating presentations on subjects like homophobia and blood banks and HIV/AIDS poetry (2000-2009)
  • Liberal Arts Advising, Duties include: meeting with students during pre-registration to plan schedules (2000-2005)
  • Co-Chair, Basic Writing Committee, The Department of English. Duties included: chairing meetings, preparing minutes, and reviewing textbooks for departmental implementation, writing course materials, and preparing the English 099 handbook (2000-2004)
