The Place That Is Special
for Me
I have had many beautiful and special moments in my life. The
place that I remember is a beautiful park that is in front of
my grandmother's house in my country, the Dominican Republic.
I remember when I was twelve years old I went
to my favorite park every day. It had wonderful trees and spectacular
flowers. This place is very special for me because I remember
my childhood. Therefore, I felt well because it is the place where
I played with my friends and sisters.
All afternoon after school I rode bicycle
with my best friend Vanessa. I spent a lot of time with her, but
in these moments I liked to play baseball too. I remember my grandmother.
She did not like that I played it because she always thought that
it is a game for boys and not for girls.
Another place that I like are beaches. But
I have a specific beach that is name Boca Chica. It is located
in the Eastern part of my country. It has crystalline water and
different seafood such as small fish, starfish, and small octopus.
It is a spectacular place that has attracted a lot of people from
different countries. I love it because I felt comfortable in that
wonderful place.
Finally, I lived a wonderful childhood in
my country because I visited some places that I liked when I was
a child. I would like to visit these places again because I love
it. Many times I think that places change because they are not
the same as the time when I experienced them, but they will always
be the same places in my mind.
