Today I’m going to talk about how I met my husband. About seven years ago I met my husband on a street.

It was New Year’s Day of 1998. I was walking on a street with two girlfriends in Kunming, China. When we discussed where we should go to eat and play, suddenly, someone rant to our front and said “hi, where are you going to, ladies.” We did not answer him; he continued to say “ I have two friends behind, if you don’t mind we can have lunch together.” I felt very strange, because I never knew him and why he thought we should have lunch with them, I had no idea what was his purpose. Then I turned to look back and I saw two men behind us, and I found one of them smiled to me, I looked at him very carefully, from his smiling I believed that they were good men. And then we had lunch together, maybe you would think we were crazy, why would we have lunch with strangers, but it was very good, because we had a very interesting conversation during the lunch, and we knew their names, I liked the guy’s name-James, who was smiling to me.

After the lunch we decided to play boats on a lake, each boat only allows two people, so I choose James. On the boat we talked a lot and we got more information from each other, he told me he’s a sales manager and I told him I’m a sales girl. Sounds we had many things to learn from each other. Then we became good friends and we gave phone number for each other.

On next day he called me and asked me to see the trade exhibition, but I could not go with him, because I had another appointment on that day. A few days later he called me again and asked me to dinner, in that time I did not have any excuse and I accepted his invitation, we had a nice dinner and we found we had some similar lifestyles.

Since that we hang out often, like we went to movies, sometime in weekend we went to parks and sometimes we went shopping together. After a year we believed that we had a deeply love, so we decided to get marry. What do you think of my story? Do you think it funny or you think it little bit dangerous for young girls to make friends like my.
