My Story

...I was born in Ecuador in a small place named Azogues. I lived in Ecuador for 17 years. I was living with my grandmother and my aunts because my mother came to New York when I was nine months. I knew my mother when I was 16 years old because she didn’t have her documents. That is why I never lived with her. I came to New York in August 11, 2002. I arrived at my mother’s house, but I had some problems with my mother and my sisters because I never lived with them.
...I lived with my mother four months. After that, I went to live with my aunt for one year, but now I live alone in Astoria. When I lived with my aunt, I lived in Manhattan. It is good to live alone. I study at LaGuardia Community College.
