My Story

...I was born on February 26, 1983 in Lima, Peru. I studied at “San Judas Tadeo School when I was six years old. I started to study in secondary school when I was 14 years old in the same school. After that, I studied about computers for three years and worked in a Cyber Cafe for a year. Finally I came to New York to study and work. I’m very happy because I was promoted on my job the last Saturday and I work with computers actually.

My Work

...I work in a factory. Everyday my work group and I are sending products to other regions of the country. First we make an inventory of all the boxes that we are going to send. After that, we need to put all the boxes on pallets on the routes to each driver. When we have all the pallets ready and get all the inventories, we need to call to the company’s trucks for example, CCX, YELLOW, UPS, NEW PENN, etc. Then they come and talk to my boss while my work group and I wrap the pallets. After the drivers of each company come and count the pallet by pallet and sing the bill of each paller, we finally go to put the pallets in each truck.
