Welcome to The English Language Center Day Intensive Program Level 6/7, Advanced English Class. In this course you will explore the history of Harlem and all of the people who have lived there, from Native Americans to Dutch and German immigrants to African Americans. The course will examine literature, music, art, and architecture from the various stages of Harlem's development, looking especially closely at the stories of the neighborhoods inhabitants. Who are the people that gave Harlem it's identity as a place?
