1.  The X-Word rules always work.  If you follow them, the FORM of the verbs      
      you use will always be correct.

2.  X-Words are NEVER followed by the S FORM or the PAST FORM of verbs.

3.  The BASE FORM is NEVER the first word of a STATEMENT.  However, it

     can begin a question or a command.

 4.  If you use a VERB FORM after a preposition, it MUST be the –ING  FORM.

 5.  After  “TO” we almost always use the BASE FORM.
