Instructions for Archiving Your Course Work

 

 

 We noted that the information placed in the assessment folder must be protected from being modified, erased, or overwritten once it is captured.  In the meeting we identified a file management concept, using the list of portfolio-intensive courses as a basic structure.  The subfolders in the assessment folder would be:

  Freshman Year Experience courses
  Introductory course in the Major
  Urban Studies
  Gateway courses (possible)
  Capstone in the Major
  Other Courses

Each folder would contain a minimum of 3 documents, created by students as part of their course work.  As the project develops, faculty teams will review these documents as part of the program assessment process.
