Students

When is the lab open?

The lab is open Monday through Friday from 8:am to 10:15 pm. See our schedule. In the summer we are not open on Fridays

Can I miss lab?

You can only miss three hours of lab.

How can I know when my class meets in the lab ?

If you know you course number you will find it in our schedule.

How can I get tutoring?

In addition to the two required lab hours, you can get extra-help, one-to-one tutoring at certain hours.

Instructors

When should I hand in my lesson plans?

You should hand in your lesson plans at least 24 hours before your class meets. This allows our tutors to see the plan and prepare for the tutoring session.

What do I assign for the lab class?

You can assign any activities that are related to what you are doing in class. You are also welcome to see the resources that we have.

Can I meet my tutors?

Yes, you can meet your tutors and discuss the students' performance. Just leave a message in their mailbox or a write a note when you return their report to them.

How can I find about the lesson plan I have to implement?

You can give us a call the day before and if the lesson has been submitted we will tell you what the lesson is. If the instructor is using Blackboard or Speakeasy, you may find the lesson plan and /or discussion forum before you come to school.
