Resources

Our lab offers the following resources for students:

 A state of the art computer lab E-201G.

Video lessons appropriate for each level. The lessons are designed with activities that develop the four skills. In addition we have movies related to the books student are reading in class.

Audiotapes and tape recorders with listening material.
Modules: A set of ready to go lesson plans for each level. Activities cover all four skills.

Online resources: The ESL lab maintains a Blackboard site where students can work on quizzes, exercises, a discussion board and much more.

One to One tutoring: Students can get extra-help to work with tutors by appointment or on a drop-in basis.
Tutors and students receive support from Student Technology Mentors when they are working in the computer lab. Student Technology Mentors are LaGuardia students who are trained in new media technology.
