For ten years, I was a writing tutor before transitioning into teaching, so tutoring will always inform my approach to teaching. My main research interest involves the process of editing anthologies and I have published on this topic in The Journal of Basic Writing, The Basic Writing e-Journal, Writing Spaces, and Valuation Studies.
