This course focuses on backend development for data-driven websites. Students will create data-driven websites. Topics include: SQL, NOSQL, industry standard web frameworks, responsive web design, server side data input & validation, source and revision control.

Course Objectives Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate the skills needed to build, maintain, and troubleshoot data-driven websites. Students will implement the fundamentals of backend web development and professional workflow using GIT, CLI, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, Full Stack Development and Responsive Design Strategies.
To expose students to Full Stack Development. Students will perform Internet programming techniques in order to create more sophisticated data-driven websites.
To expose students to the industry standard tools and services used build and deploy data-driven websites Students will build, maintain, and troubleshoot their own data-driven websites.
Students will demonstrate the ability to engage in research and communication using information acquisition tools, to engage in self-directed continuing professional development. Students will research industry best practices and implement them in designing and building a data-driven website.
