Jackson & Muriel Lum Engineering Technology Award

award money Award: $1,000 to $2,000


Eligibility Criteria:

Students in the Engineering Technology department can apply for the highly coveted Jackson and Muriel Lum ET Award.

Selection Criteria:

To be eligible, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Enrolled full-time in a program in the Engineering Technology (ET) department at Queensborough Community College;
  • Demonstrate financial need; and
  • Have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.

Application Materials/Process:

The applicant must complete and submit

  • Jackson and Muriel Lum Engineering Technology Award Application;
  • A one-page statement that includes the applicant’s personal background information, career-aspirations, and any other pertinent information that will tell the review committe about you, and;
  • Copy of recent transcript.
